Railway car speed reducer

One of the pilot projects for the overhaul of the railway car retarder has been completed.
The length of the restored retarder: 1200 cm., width 440 cm., weight – 37 tons.
The following restoration works were carried out: repair of the support beam, frame, rack, bushing sets, brake beams, levers, clamps and cylinders. In addition, sleepers, rails, brake tires and support tires were completely replaced.
